This is far more abstract than what I usually do, but in a way it is an idea I have had floating around in my head since I was ten. It was rather exciting to be able to execute it and have it not just be some weird figment of my imagination. I've tried to do it before, but with a point and shoot, and that didn't turn out so well. Now, I finally have the gear and ability to get what I have always envisioned (as much as I know it isn't all about the gear and more about the person operating it, in a dim bathroom a good camera does help). I was trying to create the abstract idea of beauty, and how it can change so much based on who is seeing you or how you are acting. It is so subjective, and I feel like society easily forgets that and emphasizes just the physical, rather than who we are as people. How many ads do you see making you want to be a better person? Most are trying to sell you something to make you look/feel better about yourself, except for the few "pay it forward" ads. I love those.
In other news, I am back home, and now I am very comfortable with my editing again ;) Also, this is Monday's photo, I am still a day late uploading stuff. I hope to get everything back on schedule by tomorrow.

Wow. Def. my favourite out of the self-portrait photos [so far!]. This is great. :-)
